Inclusivity

Inclusivity

Every element of a plant or fungi plays an important role in its health—from roots to branches to blossoms.

Following nature’s lead, the Entheo Society has a uniquely democratic, shared power structure that values the efforts made by every member.

Our Executive Director provides leadership with the support and counsel of our Executive Board. In turn, they are all supported by the efforts of our many members. In the interest of checks and balances, the Executive Board can vote to over-ride the Executive Director.

We are very conscious of “who is at the table” all across the organization and promote the inclusion of any and all voices historically excluded from the psychedelic movement.

we choose to

  • Recognize and appreciate every member’s unique talents, listening to one another and sharing in decision-making.
  • Welcome diverse voices and members representing an array of backgrounds, experiences, and abilities.
  • Be true to our intuitive voices, speak our personal truths, and be honest with one another.
  • Honor the rich history of indigenous relationships with the natural world—a path that requires continual re-evaluation and self-awareness in a world of cultural appropriation.
